Hiring and Costs for Spiral Sun Solar Showers for your Festival or Outdoor Event
Type of Booking
Option 1) The Festival or Event wishes to provide free showers to users
Cost to the Festival or Event is £800 per 2 unit (4 cubicles) shower set per weekend. The showers will be operational from 2pm on Friday till 8pm and from 8am – 8pm on Saturday and closing at 6pm on Sunday. For longer events the daily fee is £320.
A 4 unit (8 cubicles) shower set costs £1,600 per weekend and £640 per day for longer events.
Option 2) The Festival or Event wishes to provide showers that users pay for
Cost to the Festival or Event is £250 per 2 unit (4 cubicles) shower set per weekend (as above). For longer events the daily fee is £100. Festival goers are charged an agreed cost per shower (normally £3.00). Festival workers e.g. stewards, security etc. are usually charged a reduced amount (normally £2.00).
Cost Reductions Available
If a 2 unit shower set takes more than £800 over the Festival or Event ( including the Deposit ) then 30% of the excess will be repaid to the Festival or Event up to a maximum of £500. A good pitch (see site requirements) and appearing in Festival or Event Advertising are very helpful in achieving this.
Booking Fees
For Options 1) and 2) a booking fee of £200 per 2 unit (4 cubicles) shower set is payable no later than end of May. This is deducted from any costs due as set out above. Any balance due must paid no later than 1 day after the event closes.
Each 2 unit (4 cubicles) shower set comes with a crew of 4 (2 rigger/operators and 2 shower attendants).
48hrs on site access is required before the event and 36 hrs after it ends for erection and removal of equipment.
Special arrangements such as the provision of showers before or after the event to service crew etc. may be negotiated by contacting Spiral Sun Solar Showers.
