Hiring and Costs for Spiral Sun Solar Showers
Option 1) The Festival or Event wishes to provide free showers
Cost to the Festival or Event is £625 per 2 unit (4 cubicles) shower set per weekend. The showers will be operational from 2pm on Friday till 8pm and from 8am – 8pm on Saturday and closing at 6pm on Sunday. For longer events the daily fee is £250.
Option 2) The Festival or Event wishes to provide showers that users pay for
Cost to the Festival or Event is £200 per 2 unit (4 cubicles) shower set per weekend (as above). For longer events the daily fee is £80. Festival goers are charged an agreed cost per shower (normally £2.50). Festival workers e.g. stewards, security etc. are usually charged a reduced amount (normally £1.50).
Cost Reductions Available
If the showers take more than £750 over the Festival or Event then 50% of the excess will be repaid to the Festival or Event up to a maximum of £500. A good pitch (see site requirements) and appearing in Festival or Event Advertising are very helpful in achieving this.
Each 2 unit (4 cubicles) shower set comes with a crew of 3 (1 rigger/operator and 2 shower attendants).
48hrs on site access is required before the event and 36 hrs after it ends for erection and removal of equipment.
Special arrangements such as the provision of showers before or after the event to service crew etc. may be negotiated by contacting Spiral Sun Solar Showers.
For Options 1) and 2) a booking/provision of equipment fee of £200 per 2 unit (4 cubicles) shower set is payable on arrival at the Festival or Event.
